18 Month Photo Shoot & Doctors Visit
Today we did Brendan's 18 month photo shoot at Royal Oaks. It was a beautiful morning on the course. Brendan, Nathan, & Papa wore suits for the first pictures and then Brendan and Nathan changed into golf gear for the rest of the session. Brendan was adorable in his cap, sweater vest, plead shorts, argyle socks and saddle shoes!
Brendan also had his 18 month well baby check today with his Pediatrician. He is doing great. We are happy to see that he weighed in at 24.44 lbs and 32.5 in. long. That puts him in the 57.65 percentile for height and 37.37 percentile for weight-length.

Brendan's 18 Month Birthday is Today!
Again, sorry for the lack in Pookerton coverage! Brendan is doing great and is having a fun 18 month birthday. He went to his Thursday playgroup today and then went over to a friend's house for more playtime. He is very interactive and has a lot to say these days. Favorite words are: Mama, Dada, Nana, dog, keys, teeth, ball, and baby. Enjoy the pics below from the last couple months.

Brendan's Kidney Looks Great!
Brendan's kidney ultrasound results came back with great news. The left kidney that had surgery looks very good and should continue to function normally as it has been since it was fixed. It is amazing how much better it looks from the last post-op ultrasound and it has only been 6 months.
Brendan also went in to see his pediatrician on Thursday and he weighed in at 20 lbs 13 oz which puts him at the 21st percentile for weight. Just less than a month ago he was at the 9th percentile. Mamma's been feeding the little Pooker well!! Bren's favorite foods right now are cheesy scrambled eggs, cheese burgers, chicken, cheerios, and yogurt (you can definitely tell who is feeding him). We let Brendan try everything we eat and we're lucky that he hasn't been really picky. Our efforts to bulk our boy up are working.

Brendan's Ultrasound
Brendan had an ultrasound on his kidneys last week and we get the results back on Friday. This was just a checkup and it seemed that everything looked good from I could tell. He weighed in at 20 lbs 4 oz! We even turned his big boy car seat forward facing today because he passed the 20 lbs weight requirement.
Last weekend we took Brendan up to Timberline for some snowy winter fun! Enjoy the pics!
