Brendan's 1st Haircut

Brendan has a few buddies that we meet with once a week from our Mommy & Me group. The kids are all pretty much the same age and most of them share birthdays just days apart. Today we had a big group with 6 mommies and kids at Esther Short Park. The kids played, we went to Starbucks, went for a walk and ended up at Kazoodles toy store. I think us moms have more fun at the toy store than the kids! I bought Bren his own kid sized broom because he likes to help mommy. I almost bought him the kid sized Dyson vaccum that was marked down 50% but I practiced self control. We also got flash cards so we can practice our animals. I want Bren to know that there are more animals than the dog and cow. For some reason he only remembers what a dog and cow say.

Brendan had his first soccer practice yesterday. I originally planned on putting him in the Bunnies group (18-35 month olds) but after we got there they suggested he be put in the Thumpers group (2-3 year olds) because he was so active! He looks adorable in his uniform!

My Little Ring Bearer

My Aunt Shelly & Peter's Wedding on July 26th 2008. Brendan was the ring bearer in pictures but didn't actually walk down the isle because he wanted his Mommy and Daddy. He liked the pillow though!

18 Month Photo Shoot & Doctors Visit

Today we did Brendan's 18 month photo shoot at Royal Oaks. It was a beautiful morning on the course. Brendan, Nathan, & Papa wore suits for the first pictures and then Brendan and Nathan changed into golf gear for the rest of the session. Brendan was adorable in his cap, sweater vest, plead shorts, argyle socks and saddle shoes!

Brendan also had his 18 month well baby check today with his Pediatrician. He is doing great. We are happy to see that he weighed in at 24.44 lbs and 32.5 in. long. That puts him in the 57.65 percentile for height and 37.37 percentile for weight-length.

Brendan's 18 Month Birthday is Today!

Again, sorry for the lack in Pookerton coverage! Brendan is doing great and is having a fun 18 month birthday. He went to his Thursday playgroup today and then went over to a friend's house for more playtime. He is very interactive and has a lot to say these days. Favorite words are: Mama, Dada, Nana, dog, keys, teeth, ball, and baby. Enjoy the pics below from the last couple months.
